Ah, I see that now. And I totally agree. It already drives me crazy that
with most C++ code I've seen the functions already aren't at the
left-most column due to an outer "class". Adding another level due to
"namespace" would be very annoying.

In response to the warning I get, I can hit '!' and emacs goes ahead and
edits my ~/.emacs for me, adding a safe-local-variables setting to the
custom-set-variables block. After that, the warning is gone.

So that's probably workable for a setting that we really do want.
