<div dir="ltr">I do build with Visual Studio 2012 all the time. (I actually stopped using Visual Studio 2010 and should update instructions.)<div><br></div><div>I don't build on Windows 8 -- only Windows 7 --, but I wouldn't expect that to make a difference.<br>
<div><br></div><div style>But I also have DXSDK headers installed, -- actually headers from <a href="https://github.com/apitrace/dxsdk">https://github.com/apitrace/dxsdk</a> to allow me to build wrappers / retracers for all Direct3D versions. So maybe that is making a difference.</div>

<p class="">Has anyone had success compiling apitrace using Visual Studio 2012 on Windows 8?  I tried following the Windows build steps listed generating a project with CMake that have been tested with Visual Studio 2010.  However, this resulted in
 a large number of errors.  I’m curious if anyone has had success building with Visual Studio 2012 and if they know of any settings that need to be changed compared to what is listed in the documentation.<u></u><u></u></p>
