I just pushed a fix, no test hangs now.

On 2/14/07, Carl Worth <cworth@cworth.org> wrote:

OK, so I'm a total idiot.

I managed to push out a change which totally breaks things,
(presumably as part of the text/font locking changes). I'm seeing the
following tests hang currently, (and all are just single-threaded of
course):

font-matrix-translation
glyph-cache-pressure
select-font-face
show-text-current-point
text-cache-crash
text-rotate
bitmap-font
pdf-features
ps-features

I don't know if I'll have a chance to look at this and fix it
tonight. If people want to track down the bug and fix it (or even just
revert the bogus commit) please feel free.

Once we fix whatever stupidity I did here, we're definitely done with
1.3.14 (sorry it's been taking so long). And then I have a very short
list of things I'd like to perhaps see done for 1.4, (most of which
have patches waiting to just be applied):

* Was someone going to finish user_data for everything? Shall we do
that or punt to 1.6?

* Add a radial gradient test case.

* Fix the radial gradient bug with two non-zero radius values

* Apply David Turner's radial gradient improvement

* Apply David Reveman's server-side gradient patch

* Workaround the X server performance bug of allocating a mask to fit
the entire bounds of trapezoids, (rather than respecting the
bounds/clip of the destination surface).

* Fix the rotate-image-surface ps backend failure

* Apply a final version of the leaky-dash fix that's in progress

* Any last improvements to PDF text selection

That's still a rather long list, but a lot of people are already doing
lots of great work on this stuff. Please keep it up everybody! And
feel free to jump in on any of the above tasks if you want to start
helping out).

-Carl

_______________________________________________
cairo mailing list
cairo@cairographics.org
