i believe any *old* poetry is OK, considering the US copyright lay, i 
believe if is older than 100 years is safe.

the Project Gutenberg (http://www.gutenberg.org/) may be a valuable resource

note: my native language is NOT english, so i have no much use for cards 
with english poetry, be it PD or not
