Not yet, but I'm hoping that because an SVG Font now exists, that it
will drive this in Inkscape. Also, I was reading that Inkscape Godfather
Raph Levien (http://www.levien.com/) has been working on some type
features which he would like integrated into Inkscape.

Yeah, it would be worth an email to the SVG working group...anyone up to
do that? Otherwise, I might read the spec and ask their thoughts...
