Exactly.

I don't know anything about PIL, but I know Adam7 *is* universally supported by
browsers (i.e. all browser that support ordinary PNGs support Adam7). But of
course, if it's not possible to have differently-encoded for the Web site and
the downloadble archive, using non-Adam7-encoded images may be better.
