[Clipart] Downloading Clip Art

I have XP Home. I recently posted a question (replied to by acknak)
regarding problems with downloading clip art.
As acknak requested here is further info.
1. I open clipart library. After browsing I select pic.
>From FIND SAVE I select SAVE to either FLOPPY OR Flashdrive. When I
open the file, all I get is a lot of letters and numbers. I have had
a look at FAQs. Is my problem something to do with SVG's?
