Hi all,

Let me introduce myself. I am Becky Faith from the Tactical Technology
Collective. Our projects include the support of Citizen
Journalist projects internationally, and to that end we have been a
supporter of FLOSS Manuals for some time, mostly working with Adam on
the creation of manual material for our NGO-IN-A-BOX series.

Recently I spoke with Adam about creating some material for our
forthcoming Citizen Journalism Toolkit. Specifically we have
identified that there is a need for
material on the following softwares (with the chapter headings underneath):

WORDPRESS
* INSTALLING
* BASIC CONFIGURATION
* ADDING BLOG CONTENT

INKSCAPE
* INSTALLING on WINDOWS
* WHAT IS AN SVG?
* HOW TO CREATE A BASIC SVG GRAPHIC (ICON)
* EXPORTING TO OTHER FORMATS

SCRIBUS
* INSTALLING on WINDOWS
* CREATING A BASIC NEWSLETTER
* EXPORTING TO DIFFERENT FORMATS

This is pretty basic content but it needs to be documented thoroughly,
as is the FLOSS Manuals way. The content must be in the format of
FLOSS
Manuals content and written in the appropriate FM manual.

We would like to commission writers to create this content. I believe
Adam has written to the list before about finding a way for voluntary
contributions and paid contributions to live side-by-side and after
discussing it Adam recommended opening this commission up to the list.

We can pay 200 euro (including tax) for each chapter. I understand
Adam will provide any assistance for helping anyone shape the content
if
necessary.

If you are interested please write to me directly
(becky at tacticaltech.org) and cc Adam
(adam at xs4all.nl).

Looking forward to hearing from anyone interested!

All the best
