Hi,

besides, what do you think of cliparts being banned in some countries?

Guidelines: "As a corollary, the Library will not reject images that are legal in
most countries just because they are illegal in a minority of
countries.

Reason is ?86 StGB (http://bundesrecht.juris.de/stgb/__86.html)

My (unauthorized, unofficial, unprecise and inaccurate) translation:

People who distribute or manufacture, possess, import or export or make
available to the public via the means of electronic storage ... any
means of propaganda or a party, government or institution or entity in
favour of the continuation of former national socialist organisations...
will be fined or arrested up to three years... if it is not for purely
artistic, scientific, educational, historic or similar purposes.

We may say that it's for "artistic" and/or "educational" purposes ;) Seriously, I think that international law doesn't work that way: German law refers to German, not (?) to anyone in the world (??). BTW, our servers stand in US, right?

In similar way, we're not going to delete all cliparts in categories "people" and "animals", just because depicting living creatures may be illegal in some fundamentalist Muslim countries.

With all respect,
Papapishu
