The old files have been cleaned up and separated into folders by user
already - they could be uploaded one by one now, but not under the
names of the original submitters as we don't have access to their
accounts or they don't have accounts ( we discussed and didn't think
it right to make accounts for people who haven't). This is the
current issue.
Can I take those files, upload them, with original author attribution, and then cross them off the list?

The authors themselves seem to have disappeared and this is one way I can be useful. I've heard the "we should put them under Anonymous, rather than a persons name", but that means it's an admin job - and what admin has time to do all that?

I'm inclined to think that if the original authors want it under their original name they should upload it themselves. The few people who have responded to their stuff under Anonymous havent done anything themselves. The important thing (and part of the Roadmap goals) is getting the clip-art in in. Currently, I won't do anything until I get permission. I dont want to be a hassle more than help, but the facts tell me that the original authors aren't really interested in uploading themselves.
