I was wondering about that actually. Some files come in PNG in inkscape. I've been downloading the svg files directly, but having it import the svg file instead of the png would be *very* handy. I wonder if there's a way to have ccHost preview (well an svg would be great!) any png file that is in the files list. If we could shift ccHost to look at the bottom of the file list for the preview instead of the top, that would fix both problems. It would allow Website previews, AND inkscape svg imports.

I'm just thinking out loud here without much knowledge. (In other words, I dont know if it would work.)

On Mon, Apr 6, 2009 at 6:31 PM, Oleg Koptev <koptev.oleg@gmail.com> wrote:
But on the other hand - it causes that Inkscape (which have function to load clipart from OCAL directly as you know) load that PNG only, but not SVG. It is well-known bug as I read (Jon know it). And this bug leads to the fact, that implemention of this very useful and handy function in Inkscape is questionable..

that is dilemma.

2009/4/6 John Olsen <johnny_automatic@mac.com>

Yes, a perfect admin job. If under my normal account and not spamming
the list, I would send a suggestion to the submitter to do it that way
in the future.
