The delay is because i was in the last time less motivated to work on OCAL. The auto script generates new PNG thumbnails on the fly. It is not a problem for the individual (or the admins for that matter) people to remove the pngs. There is just a whole lot of them of course :) I don't know why the release has been delayed, but I can only guess there are some background things or time constraints involved.
