I believe that the old/current OCAL interface is basically unusable for newcomers and would prevent lots of people from taking advantage of the site. The beta looks terrific, but hardly anyone knows about it. If there are some good reasons for not switching over, could there at least be a prominent link from the old/current site so that people can give it a try? Additionally, the contact form on the old/current OCAL site doesn\'t work for me in either FF3.5 or IE8 (with all ad, cookie and JS blockers off). The CAPTCHA doesn\'t show. Hence the email to you. One last thing. If it\'s useful to anyone, I\'ve made two search plugins that should work for FF2+, IE7+ and the most recent dev versions of Chrome.
