Those are the ones I mean. I've been getting the same things in my
email previously, but I thought I had AV'ed the little twerp.
The emails are addressed to and from the same person or company, but
somehow it's disguising itself.
You won't see my name on the From, but I do think it is from my
computer.
In any case, I've disabled the sending from my Thunderbird client (I think), so
hopefully,
we'll see if that stops it or not. If not we know something else is the
problem!
One virus result which could be it (this was detected on my machine) :
Path
...\AppData\Local\Temp\nsmail-5.tmp
Virus name found on April 10 via Comodo AV
TrojWare.win32.TrojanDownloader.FraudLoad.~STN@104192057

Keep your eyes peeled people. It's a sneaky one.
I suspect somehow a virus has gotten onto my computer. IT IS sending those
emails...*yes* THOSE* emails to clipart-list via Thunderbird.
I have disabled my email client sending SMTP thingy in the hopes that it
won't happen again, and am back to sending via webmail. IF it does happen
again,
then ... I don't know, I might have to throw thunderbird out and start
afresh. Egads.
Anyone have any tips on protection from viruses?
