I think you really need to find someone who we can ask specifically about copyright law. There are many grey and or shady areas that we layman and designers don't know about. I tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to removing clipart or infringing clipart from the site. Perhaps a team of copyright lawyers in different countries would be a good thing to have up OCAL's sleeve.
