Some say no to popeye being public domain. I cannot possibly know, but I do know that those cliparts are providing <b>potentially</b> copyrighted images. Do we continue to have them on the site (and allowing more people to have those cliparts under a false sense of security of OCAL claiming that all it's stuff is PD) or do we remove them (on the grounds that they <b>might be </b>copyrighted)?<br>

There are many grey and or shady areas that we layman and designers don't know about. I tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to removing clipart or infringing clipart from the site.<br>
<br>Perhaps a team of copyright lawyers in different countries would be a good thing to have up OCAL's sleeve.<br><br>One at least in the US because OCAL is based in the US, and is a registered US website.<br clear="all">
