I loved the ideas!<div>I didn't have time (and decent ideas) to participate in the logo contest, but I missed the monthly theme and I think that even without prizes and sponsors, people will embrace the idea and submit good work, if the contest is promoted properly.</div>

* Pattern contest for tileable patterns meeting common requirements<br>
(woodgrain, stone, brick, linoleum, carpet, wallpaper, water, etc).<br>
Again, the contest could be for a particular type of pattern or it<br>
could be general.<br>
* Desktop wallpaper contest. This also could be made more specific<br>
(abstract wallpaper, scenic wallpaper, animal wallpaper, etc.) or<br>
left general.<br>

I know, it'll probably be harder to find prize donors for things that<br>
aren't tied to a sponsor, but honestly most of the FCRC logo<br>
submissions have very little value as clip art, or for any other<br>
purpose once the contest is completed.<br>
