Hi, I saw there will be a new import dialog from ocal on inkscape 0.49, little re-work on the gui and mostly performance will be better. But there is one thing we can do. If someone uses the dialog right now, and types in maybe "beer" there will be showed the first page nothing more. So on the first page are the oldest, can we re-arrange the sorting of the showed cliparts? Several times I find myself having to open a dozen tabs when searching for a clipart because I can't tell enough from the thumbnail so I have to open each image to the point where I can see the detail. If we had a compare queue where a couple images are shown per page and all the ones selected from that process can be downloaded in a zip file... I think that could be a huge interface improvement.
