<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;">I would love to see categories - as it would make browsing OCAL much more fun. It would be cool if uploaders would be forced to check at least one category when they upload a graphic, so the work of librarians and the integration into other programs would be made a lot easier (only very rough categories would be useful, like 'animal', 'food', 'people', and of course 'other'). For people who browse OCAL it would be more fun, because they do not have to find a fitting search term (which is often not available in many graphics, because no-one has added tags or they are in a language different from english). And for the old cliparts, you could put them into category 'unassigned' and ask users to assign them to a category if they find them through search, so after some time, everything will have one. Categories would even make it easier to translate OCAL, as there will only be a limited number of them which can easily be translated.
