Thank you for taking the time to address this! Your patch appears to fix the problem -- I can now print targets with gcm-calibrate. I haven't yet gone through the rest of the calibration process, but I will this evening. Apologies if I was a bit vague about the trouble adding profiles from gnome-control-center. I'll provide the requested verbose output and a screencast (probably easier than trying to explain the issue) tonight when I have some free time.<BR>

Okay, first things first; can you try with the patch I posted on
bugzilla please?

You mean listed in gnome-control-center (color tab)? This should work
fine; what version colord, gnome-control-center and
gnome-color-manager are you using? If you could also get the --verbose
log from gnome-control-center when trying to add the profile, that
would be useful. Also, the output from "colormgr dump". You can of
course use colormgr to add the required metadata, but it should be a
lot easier than this... Sorry.
