You can make it 5 percent if 1 is too low. 0 is not a good idea
because if a user sets 0 as opacity value (probably unintentionally),
there will be invisible windows around that will prevent interaction
with windows behind them, which will clearly look like a bug. Why
would you want an invisible window that blocks interaction with the
windows behind it?

Anyway, the point of the patch was to have some limits rather than none.
