It already is - brushes created in GIMp are availabke to cienpaint,
and up to this day, brushes created in cinepaint are available to
GIMP.
What you are seeing here, is "we are keeping the file name and
signature, and unilateraly, withouth ever discussing a word about the
capabilities with other projects taht use teh same file format,
changing the file to something ottehr apps won't support. Catch us if
you want to"
And here on, .gbr files made available with cinepaint, will look just
like other .gbr files, but will not load in GIMP.
Everything we ask is that cinepaint names their incompatible brushes
with another extension (and anotehr magic number, so that a conflct
int he version number itself is irrelevant).
