Granted, there are a lot of robo-release sites these days that will reprint anything (legit) that comes in, but attracting their attention wouldn't attract writers and *probably* wouldn't attract additional attendees. I know that doesn't help accelerate the process of finding a venue (and I know you can't roll the dice and rush that), but I think 10-months-out-with-full-information bests 11-months-out-with-partial-information. However, I will still happily add a tweak or two to the English copy of the press release wiki page.
