Great email. I also suggested (although rather obtusely) Software in the Public Interest (SPI), the guys behind Debian donations & cash management. And it is the Software Freedome Conservancy, which is not the same thing as the SFLC, who I think is an appropriate umbrella organisation. Thanks!
