When I was at LGM, (almost?) all talks concentrated on free or open source software, using it, and/or the creation of free/libre graphics, fonts, movies, etc.  And there was a lot of stuff to discover there, both from well-known and from new projects.  And of course the diversity of software developers vs. users was great... But what about the hardware parts? There are some people working on actual "libre graphics hardware" too!
