Maybe is obvious (he who asks is a fool for five minutes he who does not ask remains a fool forever), but...<div><br></div><div>What the point if avoid upscaling in the OpenRaster thumnail? imagine a 16x16 icon, with the actual spec we get a 16x16 square in the center of a 256x256 transparent image, so if the previewer (for example Nautilus) display it in 64x64 space there are two possible options, scale down all displaing the original icon in a ridiculous 4x4 dimensions, or analize the image to cut transparent borders and display it with the same result as if the OpenRaster spec had done upscaling, but with extra work and code.</div>
