personally, I was thinking to keep the same identity Alex build, and
just change secondary elements colors (from light yellow to light
green for example), adding new background images.<br>
Plus we do not have a lot of time, so I don't believe Jon want to
restart from scratch.<br>

are we sure that we need a new style?
we have a meeting which happens each year with the "same" people... shouldn't we also show some continuity on the website?
some tweaking is imo ok, but do we really need a new style?
is it a priority to be marked with hi importance?
personally, i don't think so.
