Hi all,

Here is a really simple "universal" ad in the brand theme.
Jakub one is much more inspired than mine, but now you can compare or reuse ;)

I tentatively made some test with photos from the Flickr pool too, but it seems embarrassing to pick up a portrait as a brand.

Best wishes,
Camille

2012/3/14 Jakub Jankiewicz <jcubic@onet.pl>

And note about the design and messages for ads that point to LGM, IMO
there is no need to explain what LGM is only invitation like the one
I've created but donation ad it should explain why we need money and
should encourage average users of the software to donate, even for
users that will not come to LGM and probably never will. So something
like:

LGM is the place where developers of libre and open source software meet

We need you support to make this happen. <donate to LGM>

<this can be a action button> - even if whole ad is clickable or larger

As for colours, the site and colours IMO is not the best thing that it
can be, in comparison with other sites of conferences created by
professional designer, I think that it's better if colours match
colours on different media like the poster. And ads should bring user
attention with with white background and 2 colours I think we not do
the thing we need.
