Definitely -- it applies almost cleanly to CVS head, and as I can see,
most of the functionality is there.  I'll try to separate the dbus auth
logic a little more from the sasl interface though, but the overall idea
of merging builtin mechanisms and sasl mechanisms is what I had in mind
too.
