dbus-0.22 /etc/rc.d/init.d/messagebus: line 27: daemon: command not found

Hi,

I am attempting to run dbus-0.22 on a LFS 5.0 machine.

I have configures the sources with the following configure command;

./configure --prefix=/usr --with-init-scripts=redhat
--with-system-pid-file=/var/rub/dbus.pid
--with-system-socket=/var/run/dbus/system_run_socket --sysconfdir=/etc

I have sucessfully run make; make install.

Now when I try to execute

/etc/rc.d/init.d/messagebus start

I get the following error;

Starting system message bus: /etc/rc.d/init.d.messagebus: line 27:
daemon: command not found

So I tried to install daemon-0.6.3 from source and daemon complains it
does not understand the --check option passed from
/etc/rc.d/init.d/messagebus.

Which version of daemon does dbus require?
