I have just released a point release of the D-Bus stable branch. It fixes an issue with dbus_threads_init_default asserting when called. It also cleans up the uuid documentation and makes uuid's conform to the spec. As usual: http://dbus.freedesktop.org/releases/dbus/dbus-1.0.1.tar.gz
