Error running DBUS on ARM

I am trying to run dbus-1.0.2 on ARM.
I got the same errors (No.1&2) as a post "Error running DBUS on ARM"
by Shilpa Sheoran (Thu Mar 1 19:04:45 PST 2007). I don't understand
how to fix it.
Does anyone help me?

I checked dbus-daemon is in $PATH (PATH=/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin).
But I got the error. why?

arm# ls /bin/dbus-daemon
/bin/dbus-daemon

My configure:
export CC=arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc
export LD=arm-none-linux-gnueabi-ld
export NM=arm-none-linux-gnueabi-nm
export RANLIB=arm-none-linux-gnueabi-ranlib
export STRIP=arm-none-linux-gnueabi-strip
./configure --prefix=/home/ken/src/rootfs --host=i386-redhat-linux-gnu
--target=arm-linux --without-x

Regards,
ken

Yes, the prefix is saved into the executables and the library. That's
standard practise. You should be more or less used to it.

Because it's not meant to. It tries to find it in $prefix/bin, then in
$PATH. Make sure it's in one of them.

You probably just want to adjust --prefix to wherever you're going to
install D-Bus to in your ARM.

Because you configured D-Bus to have the system socket there. You should
change it with --prefix, --localstatedir or --with-system-socket during
configuration of the sources.

You probably want both of the first two.

Debug it. This looks like a real problem. D-Bus is trying to get the
information on the current user from /etc/passwd and it failed.
