sending a pidgin method to another computer

I'm currently investigating the possibility of sending dbus messages
to another machine specifically to send an instant message from that
machine since the machine I'm running the dbus-send command from might
not have a pidgin client running on it. The only thing I can find on
the dbus page is that it supports unencrypted TCP/IP, which is fine.
Are there any examples of sending dbus messages remotely? Or even
sending to a pidgin client?
