So, is it necessary that the user has to login on skype for the chat application to work??? We actually downloaded ddummy application from the skype developer zone and ran it in both server mode and client mode. Both authentication,connection were successfull. Even I got message as "PING succesfull. PID is 0". All this has happened only when I logged onto skype using my user id and password.
