I've not been able to figure it out yet did not find any clues lately, so hopefully i can find help here. <br /><br /> In short: I'm trying to use the dbus with the glib-binding for some method invocation. (running ubuntu 9.10) I've my gobject, my dbus-glue header and my sample program, added a configuration file in the system.d. When executing my sample I can probe my bus name with ListNames on the System Bus, my gobject receives the call and answers an "hello world" to the console, yet my sample only shows an error, saying &bdquo;Did not receive a reply..."<br /><br /> I suspect to have messed up the security policy at some point, but how do I find out if that's the cause of the trouble and how do I correct it, if it is?<br /><br /> I'm grateful for any clues or pointers <br /><br /> Ralf<br /><br /><br /> P.S.
