Hi! I'm not sure this tutorial is up to date with the current state of DBus usage (I guess for instance that it makes you use libdbus whereas now it's recommended to use gdbus which is part of GIO). For more information I suggest you see GIO's documentation about DBus at <a href="http://developer.gnome.org/gio/stable/">http://developer.gnome.org/gio/stable/</a> and the examples in its source code, see <a href="http://git.gnome.org/browse/glib/tree/gio/tests">http://git.gnome.org/browse/glib/tree/gio/tests</a> (or download GLib's source code).
