Further investigation shows that wpa_supplicant is interrupted by
some internal scanning (see attachment at <a
moz-do-not-send="true" class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88896#c15">https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88896#c15</a>),
but continues to reply to method calls, but the replies do not
reach the test app.<br>
