Hi All, libtar is a linux tar library. The original version created by Mark Roth at <a href="http://feep.net/libtar/">http://feep.net/libtar/</a> However since Mark has other priorities right now, and he also does not want to give up the name libtar, I have decided to fork it. I have spoken with Mark and he is ok with it. The fork is at: <a href="https://fedorahosted.org/libtar-ng/">https://fedorahosted.org/libtar-ng/</a> I am trying to get all (long pending) patches into this fork. I have already integrated fedora and debian patches. In case you maintain libtar in other distros and use any patches i am not aware of, i would be gratefull, if you would let me know about it.
