PATCH: Fix for bash 2 (Mac OS X 10.4)

Hi there. I'm using dolt for the first time as a part of cairo 1.8.2.  
It doesn't work on Mac OS X 10.4 because it uses features of bash  
which are too new for the bash available on that OS (Mac OS X 10.4  
and 10.3 have bash 2.05b.0(1)-release).

I originally reported the problem to the cairo developers here:

The attached simple patch fixes the problem. I'm hoping you can  
incorporate this into dolt.
