On Fedora Rawhide kernel 3.14.0-0.rc3.git0.2.fc21.x86_64 still doesn't fix this
(maybe it doesn't have the necessary patch yet?)

With radeon.runpm=1 I get the "UVD not responding" messages, the machine locks
up  frequently for 5-10 seconds to reinit the radeon, and the radeon
performance is horrible (~400 fps in glxgears).

With radeon.runpm=0 I don't get "UVD not responding", the lockups are gone, and
glxgears is at 3650 fps (still less than the 6-7k fps I got under 3.12 though.)
