I followed these instructions and everything seems to work, until KDM wants to
draw the desktop for the first time, then I see the following:
> (EE) [mi] EQ overflowing. Additional events will be discarded until existing events are processed.
> (EE)
>(EE) Backtrace:
> [...]
> (EE)
> (EE) [mi] These backtraces from mieqEnqueue may point to a culprit higher up the stack.
> (EE) [mi] mieq is *NOT* the cause. It is a victim.
> (EE) [mi] EQ overflow continuing. 100 events have been dropped.

The backtrace and "EQ overflow continuing" part repeats two times more. See the
attached Xorg.0.log for the backtraces.

The stack I used was (base is Debian Testing):
GPU: Hawaii PRO [Radeon R9 290] (ChipID = 0x67b1)
Linux: ~agdf5/linux:drm-next-3.17-wip (calls itself 3.16-rc4?)
libdrm: 2.4.54-1
LLVM: 3.5 RC1
libclc: Git:master/0ec7437d9c
Mesa: Git:master/bf1247936a
DDX: 1:7.4.0-2 + Patch
X: 2:1.16.0-1 (1.16.0)

Firmeware was put into /lib/firmware/updates/$(uname -r)/radeon (which
translates to /lib/firmware/updates/3.16.0-rc4-citadel/radeon).

Do I need to do something else? Disable tiling? DPM? Is this a remaining issue?
Or did I misunderstand, something and it is expected not to get KDE up and
running?
