Hi David, thank you for your efforts! Note that GALLIUM_DDEBUG=help explains a
"noflush" option that you can also use. In any case, can you post the resulting
file from ~/ddebug_dumps/?

Also, next time you do this experiment, please run with R600_DEBUG=ps,vs,gs,vm
and post the output in addition to the ~/ddebug_dumps/.

Though frankly, the best change to getting this fixed would be a way to
reliably reproduce it on a developer's machine. It's a pity the apitraces seem
to be unreliable.
