Thank you Seth and Alex for helping me out here.
Ok, i have removed the gfxpayload=keep option but the console on a 32bit kernel
stays black.
So there seems to be some differences between 64bit kernel and the 32bit kernel
when initializing the graphics hardware.
Could i turn on some debugging for both the intel and the readeon drm driver
which could help identify these initialization issues?</pre>
