I can see same behavior on
Graphics: RV620/M82 Mobility Radeon HD 3450/3470
Kernel: 3.11-rc1
Mesa: 9.1.2-rc1, 9.2_pre20130619
OS: Gentoo
ARCH: x86_64
Other: fluxbox-1.3.2, xdm-1.1.11-r1, slim-1.3.5-r2
System works fine without 'radeon.dpm=1'. But with this option it completely
dies. It is not only graphics that fails. System is not responding to ping and
don't continue to boot. This happens after system started booting and before it
switches to radeon driver and higher resolutions.
