Are you sure it was flawless? You had said you needed this patch:
<a href="http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/dri-devel/2013-October/047585.html">http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/dri-devel/2013-October/047585.html</a>
to fix the audio playback in addition to using hw cts/n. That patch broke
playback for a number of other users. So it doesn't seem to be completely
fixed in either case.</pre>
