Huh, then I'm not sure then.  I'm using a released version of the ddx, so if
performance dropped off again, then its likely a bad commit got added.  I'm not
sure what else to suggest to fix it though.

Maybe if you run perf top while causing the slowdowns, something will bubble to
the top?</pre>
