That means, GNU/Linux is unusable with this AMD based laptop and, jugdging from the time wasted to get GNU/Linux to work, I regret ever buying it. The disk with MS Windows 8.1 was put back in and somebody else is using it now. Judging from the current state I won’t be able to recommend to anyone to buy an AMD based laptop. Sorry.
