<pre>I've got a similar issue where one of 3 outcomes can happen:
* The picture goes black and no sound can be heard.
* The picture goes corrupted colours (stripy) and sound cannot be heard.
* The picture freezes in place and sound can be heard.
On Linux kernel 3.16rc4 with mesa git commit f55e9a7 using RadeonSI.</pre>
