I'm trying to build GTK on my RH9 system and thus am building all of its<br>
dependencies as well. One of these is obviously, fontconfig. While running<br>
make, I get an error while in the fc-cache directory with an "undefined reference<br>
to 'FT_Load_Sfnt_Table'" (which appears to be called from fcfreetype.c in the<br>
src directory).<br>

Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this?<br>

I'm using gcc 3.2.2 and running as a non-superuser.<br>
