I think there's a desync of communication. Miry simply did not know
you were open to an upstream name change. I planned on telling the
list today, but you were faster :)
Anyway, for all intents and purposes, the current status is:

"packagers expect name change soonish and will try to come up
with good names, but you decide which you like best"
